Lone Cloud, Joshua Tree

One bright cloud sits in a gap along a Joshua Tree ridge at day's end. Simple, balanced, and quietly striking.
A tall pile of granite boulders rises behind a few Joshua trees in Joshua Tree National Park. One bright white cloud sits in a gap along the ridge. The last sun of the day warms the tops of the rocks, and the rest of the scene stays soft and cool under a pale blue sky.
